PARK CITY
Customers crave better brand experiences.
Meet Our FACULTY
Operators, not keynote speakers.
The brands that are winning aren’t the loudest.

They’re the most felt.
Your customers aren’t comparing you to your competitors anymore. They’re comparing you to the last best experience they had with anyone — Uber, their favourite restaurant, their gym. Every interaction your brand creates is either building devotion or eroding it.
Welcome to the Experience Economy. Most leaders know it’s reshaping how brands compete. Few have a proper plan to maximize it.
This retreat exists because the gap between knowing the experience economy matters and having a resourced plan to compete in it is costing brands real money, real loyalty, and real people.
We all attend conferences, listen to keynotes, and taken lots of notes. Then Monday comes, our inbox fills up, and little changes.
This isn’t that. This is practical, applicable, and will change how you deploy resources and create competitive advantage.
Not a conference. Not a workshop. A working retreat.

The Gathering Retreat is three days in Park City with 20 senior leaders, world-class faculty, and one theme: how your brand creates greater competitive advantage in the Experience Economy.
Faculty sessions challenge your thinking. Workshop blocks apply the frameworks directly to your brand. Structured peer-to-peer learning turns conversation into accountability.
The output is real. Every attendee builds an Experience Blueprint across the three days — a 12-month plan that documents your experience gaps, your three priority moves, and your resourced plan to make this work stick. You present it on Day 3. You take it home that afternoon.
Past attendees have all said the same things:
“I’ve been waiting for something like this to exist.”
“This is the most effective way to help my team and I get better.”
“Excellent use of my time. The ROI on this will be HUGE.”
This retreat is produced by the same team behind The Gathering Festival in Banff — 13 years running, 2,500 senior leaders annually, sold out every year. The retreat is smaller, deeper, and built for leaders who want to move from inspiration to implementation.
You leave Park City with a plan — not just fun ideas.

A custom Experience Blueprint
A 12-month experience strategy for your brand — built across the three days, pressure-tested by peers, ready to execute the Monday you get home. Your experience gaps, three priority moves, and a resourced 90-day plan.
One clear priority, fully resourced
Not ten ideas and no plan. One priority with the team structure, budget logic, and timeline to actually move it. The retreat strips the noise so you can see what matters.
Experience Economy frameworks applied to your brand
Not in theory. In writing. The CULT brand frameworks, the neuroscience of memory and experience design, and the principles that make customers feel, remember, and return — applied directly to your brief.
19 peers who’ve worked on the same problems
Senior leaders from multi-location brands who’ve spent three days thinking about the same challenges you have. Not LinkedIn connections. Peers you can call when the stakes are high.
A 30-day integration call
We close the loop. One month after the retreat, the cohort reconvenes to check progress, troubleshoot obstacles, and keep momentum. Most events skip this. We prioritize it.
A reason to feel good about the work again
You’ll remember why you got into this in the first place. Three days of deep work, honest conversation, and Park City in June tends to do that.
Built for a specific leader.

If you see yourself in this list, you belong in this room.
- You’re Director-level and above in brand, marketing, or customer experience. You hold the budget and make strategic decisions.
- You run a multi-location brand — retail, hospitality, healthcare, restaurant, banking, sports, or entertainment - with a real customer experience to protect.
- You know the experience economy is reshaping competition, yet your efforts haven’t resulted in meaningful growth or competitive advantage yet.
- You want peer conversation as much as expert content. You’re past the keynote stage. You want to work alongside leaders who understand the weight.
The ideal attendee is a senior leader at an established company with more than one location and a customer experience worth defending. If you’ve been to The Gathering Festival and you’re ready to go deeper, this is the next step. If you haven’t been, this is the fast track.
Your journey through the retreat
You’ll end Day 1 by declaring your brief: the specific brand challenge you’re solving over the next three days. No vague goals. A real problem with real stakes.
Evening activity on the mountain — Park City in June is hiking trails and open air, followed by a casual dinner. Real connections start here.
A full day of sessions from world-class faculty: Katrina Demers on the neuroscience of memory and experience design — the four conditions that make a memory last. Guest brand leaders sharing real case studies. Workshop time where the frameworks are applied directly to your declared brief.
Off-site dinner at one of Park City’s best restaurants. The baller version.
Then the close: each attendee presents their Experience Blueprint. The room gives feedback. You leave with a plan and a flight home.
Closing lunch. The room wraps with clear next steps, a group integration call on the calendar, and 19 peers you’ll stay in contact with.
3 days in Park City.
$4,999 all inclusive.
Is this The Gathering Festival?
No. The Gathering Retreat is a separate product produced by the same team. The festival is 4 days in Banff for thousands of leaders. The retreat is 3 days in Park City for 20. You don’t need to have attended the festival to come to the retreat — and if you have, the retreat is the natural next step.
What’s included in the $4,999 USD?
Two nights at Westgate Park City Resort & Spa (June 9–11), all meals across the three days, all faculty sessions and workshop time, the retreat workbook and Experience Blueprint, and a 30-day group integration call after the retreat. You get yourself to Park City, and we handle the rest.
Who else will be in the room?
Senior brand, marketing, and customer experience leaders — Director level and above. Multi-location brands, established companies, and entrepreneurs from fast-growing companies. The group is curated. Capped at 20. The peer conversation is part of the value.
What’s the Experience Blueprint?
Your Experience Blueprint is the tangible output you build across the three days — a 12-month experience strategy for your brand. It documents your experience gaps, your three priority moves, and your resource plan for the next 90 days. You present it briefly on Day 3 and take it home the day you leave.
What’s the format — workshop? Conference?
Neither. It’s a working retreat. Faculty sessions challenge and teach. Workshop blocks let you apply the frameworks to your actual brand challenge. Structured peer time turns conversation into accountability. You leave with a specific output, not just notes.
Do I need to have been to The Gathering Festival first?
No. The retreat is a standalone experience. Alumni of the festival tend to arrive with context on the frameworks — if you’re new, you’ll catch up fast. The work you do in the room is what matters.
Is the hotel really included?
Yes. Your room at Westgate Park City Resort & Spa for June 9–11 is included in your ticket. If you’d like to arrive early or stay longer, additional nights can be arranged directly with the venue at your own cost — Park City in early June is worth the extra days.
How do I get there?
Fly into Salt Lake City International (SLC). It’s about 45 minutes to Park City by rideshare. Uber and Lyft both run reliably. The drive is scenic.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable — if you can’t make it, you can pass your seat to a colleague. If no one else from your team can attend, your payment can apply as a credit toward a future retreat.
Can I bring someone from my team?
Yes. Coming with a colleague amplifies the value — you leave with shared language and a shared plan. If more than 2 of you plan to attend, we may suggest a custom workshop instead. Connect with us to explore options at contact@thegatheringfestival.com
